Hoops have revealed their new single 'On Letting Go', taken from their forthcoming debut album Routines, out 12 May on Fat Possum. The Bloomington, Indiana trio, born out of frontman Drew Auscherman’s teenage bedroom as a solo ambient and beat-driven project à la Oneohtrix Point Never’s Replica, are making a name for themselves as one of the pace-setting lo-fi, indie outfits of the year, alongside the likes of Day Wave and Hazel English. This new cut adopts a psych-leaning synth angle as it whirls away in a typically dreamlike, soporific state.
